The Douay Rheims Bible is the English translation of the Latin Vulgate Bible, which was translated from the original Hebrew and Greek by Saint Jerome (A.D. 340-420 and one of the Doctors of the Church).
This version of the Bible was originally used in the early Church and is still in use today in the Catholic Church.
